ABOUT DARIUS
HIGH SCHOOL
Darius attended Mililani High School on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, where he stood out as both a linebacker and running back. His play and leadership helped establish him as one of the top prospects in the state.
As a senior, Darius was named to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State First Team and earned USA Today All-USA Hawai‘i Football Second Team, cementing his reputation as one of Hawai‘i’s elite high school athletes.
DIVISION 1 FBS
Darius received his only Division I FBS offer from his home state university, the University of Hawai‘i, where he began his collegiate football career in 2019. Playing linebacker and special teams for the Rainbow Warriors, Darius quickly made his mark on the program.
In 2020, he led the team in tackles and ranked among the top defenders in the nation — finishing fourth in solo tackles (85) and fifth in total tackles (104). His standout performance in the 2020 New Mexico Bowl earned him the title of Defensive MVP, highlighted by nine tackles, one sack, and one interception in the victory. Following the 2020 season, Darius was named First Team All-Mountain West and was a finalist for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award.
Darius returned with another dominant campaign in 2021, recording 108 tackles, seven sacks, and five forced fumbles, once again earning First Team All-Mountain West honors.
TRANSFER TO UCLA
In 2022, Darius transferred to UCLA, where he immediately became a defensive leader for the Bruins. Over his two seasons in Westwood, he led the team in tackles both years — posting 91 tackles in 2022 and 75 in 2023 — solidifying his reputation as one of the most consistent and impactful linebackers in college football.
DRAFTED BY GIANTS
Darius was drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round (183rd overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. In his NFL debut, he made an immediate impact, recording his first career interception against the Minnesota Vikings.
Darius has since been an integral part of the Giants’ defense, continuing to showcase the playmaking ability and leadership that has defined his career.
