About Darius

Darius Muasau’s football journey began at Mililani High School on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, where he excelled as both a linebacker and running back, emerging as one of the state’s top prospects. As a senior, he earned Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State First Team honors and was named to the USA Today All-USA Hawai‘i Second Team, solidifying his reputation as one of Hawai‘i’s elite athletes. He continued his career at the University of Hawai‘i, where he quickly became a defensive force. In 2020, he led the team in tackles and ranked among the nation’s top defenders, earning New Mexico Bowl Defensive MVP honors along with First Team All-Mountain West recognition and finalist status for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award. He followed that with another standout 2021 season, recording 108 tackles, seven sacks, and five forced fumbles, again earning First Team All-Mountain West honors.

In 2022, Darius transferred to UCLA and immediately established himself as a leader on defense, leading the Bruins in tackles in both of his seasons in Westwood. His consistent production and impact set the stage for the next chapter of his career when he was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impression in his NFL debut with his first career interception and has since become a key contributor on the Giants’ defense, continuing to showcase the leadership, toughness, and playmaking ability that have defined his journey from Hawai‘i to the professional stage.
